The included top-mount brackets are incredibly versatile, allowing for installation on window frames, walls, and even most arch-type windows. For side-mount options, we also offer brackets sold separately.
Shortening Your Blinds Emporium Blinds: All You Need is Scissors and a Screwdriver Have no fear, this video will walk you through the process of shortening your new Blinds Emporium blinds. Available in 48-inch, 64-inch, and 72-inch lengths, we recommend purchasing the size that meets or exceeds your window length to avoid the need for shortening. However, if you do wish to trim them down, the process is easy, just be sure not to cut the vertical cords.
Sizing Considerations for Inside and Outside Mounts For an inside mount, the width should match the narrowest point of your window frame, and we'll make a 1/2-inch deduction at the factory. The length should match or exceed the length of your window.
For privacy and light control, choose a width that is 2-4 inches wider than the total area to be covered, and make sure the length matches or exceeds the area.
Troubleshooting and Customization Options If the turning wand mechanism has shifted in transit, don't worry - it's a quick and easy fix that we can walk you through.
While we do offer box brackets, we highly recommend the versatile top-mount brackets included, as they are easier to install and can be used in a variety of applications.
